It is critical that Alberta’s skilled immigrants be able to
contribute their experience and education to our labour market.
Receiving a loan from IAF is often the only chance applicants have
to obtain the Canadian accreditation or training they need to work
in their field in Alberta. IAF loans are character-based. Applicants
do not need collateral, nor do they need to have a credit history in
Canada. Interest is a reasonable 1.5% above prime, and terms and
conditions help to ensure loan recipients’ success.
You can support IAF’s work by:
- Making a
donation by
cheque.
- Making a donation on-line. Click on the button below.
- Signing a personal guarantee to secure IAF’s $1 million line
of credit, which provides loan capital. The LOC is secured by
personal guarantees of business and community leaders.
Please contact Dianne Fehr, Executive Director (403
