It is critical that Alberta’s skilled immigrants be able to contribute their experience and education to our labour market.


Receiving a loan from IAF is often the only chance applicants have to obtain the Canadian accreditation or training they need to work in their field in Alberta. IAF loans are character-based. Applicants do not need collateral, nor do they need to have a credit history in Canada. Interest is a reasonable 1.5% above prime, and terms and conditions help to ensure loan recipients’ success.
